What data do we collect?
Valiance collects and processes the personally identifiable information users provide voluntarily during the creation and use of their Valiance account (as in detail defined below). Valiance also processes non-identifiable data, aggregated or not, in order to better understand use and demographics of users as a group or as individuals. Such data cannot be identified to a unique person and is anonymous.
Personally Identifiable Information
"Personally identifiable information" or "Personal data" is all the information which is connected with and can identify users personally.
This includes user information such as username, email address, profile photo, country as well as any player accounts information user added, such as in-game name and Discord nickname. If user plays a Tournament organised by Valiance, we collect information which enables users to join a tournament, such as confirmation that user have applied, contacted us, the server that was selected in the application process, team information such as the team with which user applied with to play together in a tournament. When the tournament is finished, we collect data such as event standings, team name, matches, points and round balance, as well as the same statistics for the players individually.
Non-personally Identifiable information
"Non-personally identifiable data" or "Non-personal data" includes users IP addresses, browser type, characteristics about the device user use, your Internet Service Provider, and other information when users use our services which cannot specifically identify an unique user. We are dedicated in providing best service to our users that is why we often conduct research on our customer demographics, interests and behaviour based on "Personal Data" you have shared with us. This research may be compiled and analysed on an aggregate basis and this aggregate information does not identify you personally and therefore is considered and treated as "Non-personal data" under this Privacy Policy.
How and why we use the data we collect
Personally Identifiable Information
If you share "Personal data" with us for a certain reason, we may use this data regarding the reason for which it was shared with your agreement to process. For example, if you provide data to access an Tournament or any other of our services, and connected functionalities, we will use your data that you provided us with in order to communicate about, access to or use of the Tournament, services or functionality and its outcome.
Another example of such use is if you contact us by e-mail with a request concerning our services, we will contact you back to an email address from which you contacted us.
Valiance may use other "Personal data, such as an email subscription information, to deliver, develop and improve products, content and services, to which users have subscribed.
Valiance may send users notifications and updates including information on about product changes, tournaments, events, giveaways, and other promotional materials if the users agreed to receive such information.
When you create a Valiance account, you can access publicly seen functionalities such as comments, tournament standings, team and player information. Please be advised that publicly seen content can be searched and viewed by other users as well. Users should exercise caution when deciding to disclose personal information in public settings. Users should also be aware that tournament information such as score, standings and other connected information is public information and may be displayed to other users.
Regarding legal obligations and requests, Valiance will process data when we have a legal obligation to do so, for example, if we’re responding to legal process or governmental request.

Children Under The Age of 13
If you are a user under 13 years of age, please do not access or use our services.
Valiance will not knowingly collect Personally identifiable information from any person under the age of 13.
If you are the parent or legal guardian of a child under 13 who has become our member, please contact us at support@valiance.ggand we will take appropriate measures and remove the account.
Cookies and Other Information
Valiance may use cookies and other technologies such pixel tags across its platform in order to customise a users use of a product or store information from the user usage of Valiance services. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow them to do so, more detail below) that enables the site's or service provider's systems to recognise your browser and capture and remember certain information. For example, when you sign in to Valiance, Valiance stores your user id, your IP address and time of login as a cookie. What choices user have regarding their data

If you wish to change and access information in the user and player profile in the "Edit profile" section at any given time.
Review, amend or correct information they have provided us, you can do so in the user and game profile settings or by contacting us at support@valiance.gg.
If you wish to opt out from receiving promotional e-mail communications from us. If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, you can email us at support@valiance.gg and we will promptly remove you from all correspondence. Users may opt out of these communications in the "Edit profile" section of their User profile as well.
If you wish to receive a readable copy of your data, please send a data access request at support@valiance.gg.
Storage and Security of Personally Identifiable Information
Personally identifiable information provided to Valiance will be collected, processed and stored by Valiance. We value our users privacy and we have made steps to protect the information users share with us, including, but not limited to, setup of processes, equipment and software to avoid unauthorised access or disclosure of this information.
