Insanity Killers aiming for the top spot in SA

February 5, 2018 12:51

Not so long ago, we announced who got the invites for the upcoming Critical Ops Winter Season.

In South America, we have invited one of the most promising teams of the region – Insanity Killers.

“Who?” you might ask.

Yes, Insanity Killers are a fairly new team, and that’s why we decided to talk to their leader, and a very experienced player  - BrGomes.

In the interview, we introduce this up-and-coming team, and discuss how important are BrGomes’ previous experience and time with Nerds in Arms.

Without further ado, here is the interview!

Please walk us through your roster and roles.

Hello, our lineup would be "JoaoCa", "Davyzin", "Xirin", "YnotCamp", "Cosmos" and myself, "Gomes".

Each and every one of us has tendencies to switch up roles so that we can always have good days. In an FPS, timing means a lot so when one player isn't spot on, we switch up to make some nice team plays.

You have been invited to Critical Ops Winter Season Group Stage alongside Nerds in Arms. What does this mean to you?

I feel honored to see the scene grow so much and to see our team up there with the great, it's quite a step up for an upcoming team.

How would you rate your team versus the competition in the region, and who do you see as the main competitor in the upcoming season?

Well, I'm not seeing any team with the potential of taking our first place spot in South America, at the moment.

The only team that's definitely going to be troublesome is "New Era Team".

You are a known figure on the C-Ops scene, you also used to play for NiA, and now you are the leader of your own team. What do you bring to the team, and how important is your previous experience?

A figure?

Thank you very much but I wouldn't say that.

I've always made my own name when it came to competitive Critical Ops, being a member of NiA just showed me I've been going the right direction.

Now I too am a leader, following was never my style. Our team is quite unique, you see powerhouses here and there, but they rarely stick together.

Not us! We're here to stay and conquer.

What result would satisfy you in the Critical Ops Winter Season, considering you are a newly formed team?

We're not accepting anything other than the first place in the Critical Ops Winter season.

And we want first every season for the rest of 2018!

What teams do you see coming through Critical Ops Winter Season Open Qualifiers into the SA Group Stage?

I would say that „New Era Team“ will make it through the Open Qualifiers as they have may strong and well-rounded players.

Also, „V4LHALLA“ and „V4“ have good chances of making it as well as they also have experienced players and also some of them played previously for team "4K".

Any words for the fans?

A word, I'm not good with this kind of stuff but I'll try.

Firstly, thank you to all of the SA community from the bottom of my heart, I hope you won’t abandon us during our journey with Valiance.

Root for us, after all, we are never born in greatness, we make greatness happen with time, sweat and lots of dedication!

Come face us, I know your worth and it's on the top!

It’s definitely great to see different regions grow.

It seems there are many highly motivated challengers for the top spot in South America this season.

We can’t wait to see who is going to come out on top this time.
