Last week, a top-tier organization called Inception eSports decided to acquire a lesser known team in the Asian region and sign a professional contract with them.
To get a better understanding of this move, we got a hold of their head of Critical Ops division - Hymn.
In the interview we talk about their roster, teams they will be facing in the future tournaments and more.
Without further ado, here is the interview.
It's always great to see a big organization enter the world of Critical Ops.
Can you give us a short introduction of your organization and tell us the main reason why Inception eSports decided to enter C-Ops?
Hymn - Inception eSports has been in the eSports scene for around 2 years.
During 2017, they put their name on the map.
The main reason is that Critical Ops has a great future in the esports scene.
Before they decided to acquire the team, they saw that there are a lot of players who have a lot of skills in this game and it is also a big competitive game in mobile esports.
Taking this into consideration, they decided to jump into it by getting an Asian team.
Can you please tell us your current team's roster and what will be the roles of the players?
Hymn - Our team consists of following players;
1.Kira [c][Inception eSports] [AS]
This is the official roster of our Critical ops team.
We still don't know what the roles will look like, but we do know that Kira will be the team Captain.
What kind of benefits are your players going to receive from the organization?
Hymn - First, the players will sign a professional contract.
By doing this, it will allow them to get salaries, gear, and our team merchandise.
It does seem that most of the players on your roster are not well known names in the pro scene.
Can you elaborate why you have decided to give a chance to these players?
Hymn - These players are not random players, to be honest.
All of the players that we have acquired have a great experience of playing in the pro scene and beating teams like CsPG Immortals and Learn from Past.
This roster has been playing together for 8 or 9 months under the name of „B4M“.
I'm more than confident that these players have the skill to take down any team in the region.
With teams like Learn from Past and CSPG Immortals around, what do you think it will take for your team to get on their level?
Hymn - I'd say these players are almost on the same level as the CSPG Immortals and Learn From Past players.
All of them are really hard working and they are practicing every day to improve.
By doing this, they should be able to beat the teams you just mentioned.
What are your long-term goals as an organization in Critical Ops?
Hymn - We are hoping to become the number one Asian team in the professional scene.
I strongly believe that this team has what it takes.
Anything you want to say to your fans?
Hymn - We'd like to thank all of the fans for their valuable support.
You guys can expect great things from the roster we have recruited.
Inception eSports has some very high goals with this team.
We hope they will be able to disrupt the current standings in the Asian scene, and challenge the dominance of Learn From Past and CSPG Immortals.
Do you think they have what it takes?
Let us know what you think about this new team in the comments!
