Critical Ops is no longer in beta

November 18, 2018 17:16

After being in beta for several years, Critical Ops is finally fully released with version 1.0!

To see what the community thinks of the latest update, we asked several teams in the community to give us a short statement about the latest Critical Ops update and the game itself right now.

This is what they had to say about it;

STdX’s Mr.Bates - Regarding the 1.0 release, I'm happy we finally reached it.

I myself have been here since the very beginning and couldn't be more happy to see how the game has grown over the past 3 years.

Its a game with great potential in the esports world and I think now is the perfect moment for CFE to start focusing on growing their esports scene and I can't wait to see where things go.

S2’ xrnavkha - The release of 1.0 is quite promising for the future of the Critical Ops.

It shows that the game truly is moving forward in regards to establishing itself as the leader in Mobile FPS games.

It will be quite interesting to see what the release of this milestone update holds for the future of the game, and for the further development of the game as an eSports title.

IDS sPECK - The 1.0 update is very good, but I'd say the South American region wants a different update, and it's not an update with skins and minor changes.

We'd like the lag problems to be sorted out.

I've talked with Critical Force CEO 'Veli-Pekka Piirainen' and I learned that we're going to have new weapons implemented soon in the game.

I'm looking forward to seeing them.

VG’s Angel - I think the new character models and crouch animations change a lot of the gameplay fundamentals as it changes the way you have to adjust your aim according to the player height.

Also, the new crouching animation changes the way you can hide your head by looking at your feet and take cover behind small objects.

In my opinion, it's a big change but one that we will just have to get used to and after some time nobody will complain anymore.

Impreza Vulcan - The 1.0 update is so huge for the game!

As a player that’s been playing critical ops since 2015 the game has grown and has created potential to be a household name in mobile esports.

1.0 update is spectacular, every aspect of the game has changed.

Everything from ranked to how the characters move has been improved this update.

I really like the new character models as they add a very small bit of storyline to the game.

We’d like to thank each of the players that gave us the feedback!

In just a few hours, Critical Ops Autumn Invitational ‘AMERICAS’ Semi-Finals will start.

Make sure to tune in and show support to your favorite teams.
