Azure looking to compete against the best Asian teams

March 27, 2019 15:39

It’s been a while since we made an interview with one of the Asian teams and recently, a new team caught our attention.

Today, we present you team Azure, a team that was previously known as uNicorns.

Glowy is the one answering the questions and giving us an in-depth view of the team.

Enjoy!

Introduce your lineup and tell us a short story about how your team got together.

This is how our lineup looks at the moment.

-Glowy: IGL, Entry Fragger and Lurker

i am LUNA: Entry Fragger and Lurker

_Dragay: Supporter and Lurker

A17: Supporter and Lurker

Sace: Entry fragger

Killzy: Lurker

-Major: Any of the above

Before AzuRe, this team was called uNicorns.

They disbanded after competing in Valiance Autumn Season.

After months and weeks after that, Heaven decided to reborn the team with a different name, AzuRe.

What does a player like A17 bring to the team, considering she played for some of the most known teams in the region?

A17 is a very hard opponent if you were to go against.

She always risks the best for her team and always works together with the rest.

She is always supporting the team with the frags.

Besides that, I can safely say she is one of the best girl players!!

Amazing isn’t that!?

Are you taking part in and cups?

Talk to us about your recent results.

We are still waiting for the season to begin.

We're taking part in IFT Global tournament, which is about to begin in a few weeks.

Recently we lost to Ruby due to lack of communication and people were fighting in the team due to a misunderstanding of team's callout.

On the bright side, we won several community tournaments and we successfully increased our reputation despite all the dark stuff that happened.

Many people would think Asia teams are inactive.

Well, I would say they are wrong! It’s just the standard isn’t there!

Give us your feedback on recent Critical Ops patches?

Would you say the game is going in the right direction?

So far, I would say that CFE is trying their best to actually make the game as smooth as possible.

Although on Asia servers are pretty bad sometimes.

It is a very good experience for me for the past 2 and a half years playing this game.

How would you describe the style of play Asian teams use compared to the other regions?

It's hard to say because we never played against any other region, and even if we did play several games, it wouldn't mean much as we would have to play a lot of games to get a clear picture.

What are your thoughts on the Asian scene at the moment?

SX members are still considered as one of the strongest players in Asia.

I’d say that it’s very difficult to play against them.

I’d also like to mention Kiola from unB as he is a very strong player as well.

Do you have any goals for the upcoming period?

I'd say I have 2 wishes.

It would be good if more teams were motivated to improve and advance into the top tier level.

The other is my personal goal, and that's to become the best player in Asia.

For me, it doesn't matter how long this would take, and I will try my best to make it happen.

Say something to your fans.

I would like to give advice to all the underdogs of Asia - come out from your shadow.

It’s time to challenge the good clans.

Never think you will fail and have a positive mindset.

Don't be toxic to anyone around you.

We’re happy that we had a chance to interview one of the up and coming Asian teams and we’re looking forward to seeing if they can challenge some of the best teams around in the region.

Best of luck Azure!

So I’ve come to the end of my sharing.

I would like to thank all my supporters for supporting my team and myself throughout my competitive for the past 2 and a half years.

Peace out!
